In infancy, we are linked in the mirror to a complete, stable, idealized self. Such an "Ideal-I" becomes the quest of all our lives, but can never be realized. I wish I could have a pair of "Ideal-eyes" through which I could see the sky with curved clouds, the light of a circle center, and the real world split into geometric forms.
