During this year, due to the influences of the COVID-19 pandemic across the world, online classes, conferences by live streaming, VR visiting, online degree shows, and online gatherings have become the new normal. How to meet online in a “realistic” way has also become a new issue, many IT companies have been working on this. While I have met, discussed, and chatted with all my tutors and classmates online, this made me think about this issue, what on earth is “real”?
Since we are now a hybrid, we are no longer bodies that can be merely touched, nor are we coded in a completely virtual world, we are a new species that integrates the above two aspects.
